About the Role

This overnight role is a unique combination of guest service and accounting, ensuring a smooth and secure transition between hotel operating days. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for overnight guests while also ensuring the accuracy and professionalism of closing out the day’s financial activity.

Responsibilities

Balance paperwork, cash drawer, deposits, reconcile credit cards and submit batches.
Input revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports.
Complete front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and other guest requests.
Answer guest questions about hotel services and amenities.

Requirements

Ability to work evening/overnight shifts.
Strong computer skills.
Must be a people-person.
Interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive way at all times.
Fulfill requests in a timely manner.
Ability to work under pressure.
Be prepared to move around, stand/sit, carry/lift up to 25 pounds, walk, bend/twist, and climb stairs.
Accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
