About the Role

Responsibilities
- Reports to work on time to prepare for the day’s work.
- Organizes paperwork for deliveries and maintains accurate reports and daily logs.
- Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the tractor and trailer.
- Reviews driver manifest, matches invoice numbers, and updates manifests and invoices as necessary.
- Drives in a safe and courteous manner, obeying all DOT requirements and traffic laws.
- Adheres to all company safety programs and practices.
- Complies with all delivery policies and procedures to ensure product accuracy and avoid injury or damage.
- Physically unloads heavy product from the truck at customer locations using a hand truck and ramps.
- Navigates various surfaces, inclines, steps, and stairs while delivering product to appropriate locations.
- Interacts professionally with customers and attempts to resolve concerns.
- Receives cash from customers when necessary and handles it according to company policy.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- A DOT medical card
- Safe driving record (no major violations in the past 36 months)
- Ability to lift and maneuver cases weighing 1-80 lbs.
- Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, inclines and uneven surfaces.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments.
