About the Role
Our client in the machine tool industry is looking for a CNC Field Service Technician to add to their team. This is a road-based role throughout Southern Ontario. Candidates should reside in the Greater Toronto Area. In this role, you will be the face of the organization at customer facilities — diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CNC lathes and mills. The right candidate has been inside the machines — hands-on diagnosis and repair, not just operation — and is energized by solving problems independently in the field. The company provides full product training and an industry-leading compensation plan. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a profitable, family-owned industry leader with 65+ years of history and significant growth potential. If you are self-motivated, organized, and a strong communicator who enjoys interacting with customers, this may be just the role for you!

- Travel to customer facilities across the Southern Ontario service territory daily
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software faults on CNC machines
- Troubleshoot servo drives, spindle systems, alarms, parameters, and I/O signals

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and relay logic

- Represent the company professionally on-site; communicate findings clearly
- Document all service activity accurately for each customer visit
