About the Role
The Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position offers a flexible and dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking-up additional shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with traffic flow, crowd management, and directions during routine operations, special events, and/or emergency situations.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
