About the Role
The Executive Producer, (VFX, F&E) oversees awarded projects, ensuring smooth production across the facility. This role serves as the primary liaison for clients and crew, managing schedules, budgets, and project delivery while fostering client relationships and contributing to studio growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through existing and new client relationships.
- Ensure all productions are delivered to the highest quality, on time, and on budget.
- Support early-stage projects with Executive Directors and the New Business team to win work.
- Oversee newly awarded projects without an assigned Producer.
- Assign new projects to the appropriate Producer in collaboration with the Executive Director of Production.
- Lead weekly production meetings to review project status.
- Maintain studio and client relationships, acting as an escalation point for production issues.
- Track project financial health and provide detailed reporting with Commercial Finance and Producers.
- Contribute to strategic planning for current and upcoming projects.
- Understand relevant tax credit schemes, blended rebates, and qualifying criteria.
- Ensure all projects adhere to best practices and global processes with the Executive Director of Production.
- Support production training as needed with the Executive Director of Production.
- Manage production in line with global company strategy.
- Develop and deliver studio strategic growth plans and goals with the Senior Management team.
- Step into production as needed to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.
Requirements
- Use your new and existing client relationships to generate new business.
- Work with Producers and production teams to make sure every production is delivered to the highest quality, on time and on budget.
- Work with the Executive Directors and the New Business team on early-stage projects, supporting as needed and helping to win the work.
- Oversee newly awarded projects that don't yet have an assigned Producer.
- Work with the Executive Director of Production to assign new projects to the right Producer.
- Lead weekly production meetings to review the status of current projects.
- Maintain studio and client relationships alongside the Executive Directors, acting as a point of escalation for any issues on projects in production.
- Work closely with Commercial Finance and our Producers to track the financial health of projects and provide detailed reporting.
- Contribute to strategic planning for current and upcoming projects.
- Understand the relevant tax credit schemes, blended rebates and qualifying criteria for our clients
- Work closely with the Executive Director of Production to make sure all projects follow best practice and global processes.
- Support the Executive Director of Production with production training as needed.
- Manage production in line with the global company strategy.
- Work closely with the Senior Management team to develop and deliver the studio's strategic growth plans and goals.
- Be able to step into production when needed to bring a project in on time and on budget.
