About the Role
Four Winds Hospital in Westchester is seeking a warm and energetic Director of Community Relations to coordinate digital and print communications, marketing, media, social media, events, website management, and public outreach. The goal is to build community, enhance the hospital’s image, and maximize visibility.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates social media strategies, and manages and develops content for the hospital's website and social media accounts
- Upholds the hospital's image standards and acts as quality control for correspondence, communications, and public-facing documents; edits materials for grammar and syntax as needed
- Plans and executes the hospital's speaker's bureau, job fairs, appearances at schools, clinics, on Podcasts and other public-facing events
- Monitors and responds to community feedback and complaints, and serves as community liaison in the hospital's catchment areas
- Conducts tours of the hospital for visitors and guests
- Influences customer-service-focused environment throughout the hospital
- Supports the Executive Medical Director with news media and public speaking opportunities; and maintains a list of past and upcoming speaking engagements
- Assists with photography as needed
- Occasional local travel to job fairs, ERs, NAMI Walks, and our Saratoga campus

We are a 175-bed facility where patients stay in cottages with adjacent play areas located on a beautiful 55-acre campus setting. Four Winds provides exceptional care for its child, adolescent, and adult patients. Additional location in Saratoga Springs.
