About the Role
UNIQLO is seeking enthusiastic individuals with tailoring or customizing experience to join their growing team, offering exclusive repair services as part of their sustainability initiatives. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and performing tailoring, embroidery, and repair services.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer with a friendly smile
- Provide exceptional service on all occasions
- Advise customers across all product categories
- Consult with customers, fit them, and provide tailoring on trousers, skirts, shirts, and jackets, including fixing or replacing zippers
- Consult with customers, operate an embroidery machine, and create desired embroidery outcomes
- Consult with customers and provide the best choices from our repair service for customers' old clothes
- Consult with customers on bespoke sashiko hand-embroidered orders on UNIQLO items
- Clearly understand alteration or repair requirements with customers to ensure their needs are met
- Understand and follow policies and procedures to ensure a smooth operation and minimize loss
- Collaborate enthusiastically with team members and offer support
- Relay customer feedback about products and services to company management
- Keep back of house areas organized and tidy
- Participate in activities contributing to overall store experience and objectives
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience in machine and hand sewing
- A bias for teamworking
- Excellent communication skills
- Perfect time management skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes quickly
- Personable and service-focused
- A professional, positive approach at all times
- A drive to achieve results individually and as a team
- An enthusiasm for UNIQLO brand values and products
- Keen to build a career in retail
- Previous retail experience is a bonus, but not essential
