About the Role

Iris Telehealth is actively hiring Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to support emergency department and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations remotely. This role allows for providing consultative psychiatric care across multiple hospital systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams to improve access to behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluations and consultations remotely.
Provide consultative psychiatric care across multiple hospital systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams.
Provide Nurse Practitioner supervision.

Requirements

2+ years of consult-liaison experience post-residency required.
Board Certification required.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency.
Experience in acute-care psychiatric setting(s), including inpatient, ED, crisis stabilization, consultation-liaison, acute detoxification, and/or other high-acuity behavioral health settings.
Experience treating patients ages 5+ preferred.
Willingness to provide Nurse Practitioner supervision.
Telehealth experience required.
Epic experience strongly preferred.
Comfortable working across multiple health systems and varying acuity levels.
Must reside within the United States or a U.S. territory.
