About the Role
Exciting opportunity to work with our interdisciplinary team caring for adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries including oncologic surgery, falls, strokes and motor vehicle injuries. This opportunity is in a brand new, state of the art unit. You will offer clinical and emotional encouragement to patients and their families while they gain back independence. If you are looking for team work, flexibility, enthusiasm, critical thinking, and have a strong desire to help your patients learn new skills, then you will enjoy being part of our team. Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries.
- Offer clinical and emotional encouragement to patients and their families.
- Work in a team environment that values flexibility, enthusiasm, and critical thinking.
- Assist patients in learning new skills and regaining independence.
- Work D/E/N rotation, weekends, holidays, and be on-call/callback/charge per unit needs.
Requirements
- Telemetry Experience Required
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) Years Experience
- BLS
- PALS or PEARs preferred
- Recent pediatric background required
