About the Role
Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do. This role is important for helping Canadians live life well, providing an exceptional shopping experience for Pharmacy customers.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Be clearly identifiable to the public.
- Expose Interns to the practice of pharmacy in a community setting.
- Enhance communication skills with patients, employees, and other health care workers.
- Gain knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling skills.
- Learn skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Prepare future pharmacists to be successful in a community setting.
Requirements
- Must be a student pursuing a career in pharmacy.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
