About the Role
As an ADE Europe Project Engineer, you will lead and deliver complex industrial engineering projects across Bodycote's ADE sites in the UK and Europe. You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from initial specifications and design through manufacture, installation and commissioning to final production handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required technical and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex industrial engineering projects across Bodycote's ADE sites in the UK and Europe.
- Take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from initial specifications and design through manufacture, installation and commissioning to final production handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required technical and quality standards.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in project engineering.
- Proven experience delivering complex industrial engineering projects, including equipment, machinery or manufacturing systems from design through to commissioning and handover.
- Strong project management, technical problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in German, Dutch or Swedish.
- Strong command of English.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across Europe, up to 75% during peak project periods.
