About the Role
Seeking an individual who will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments by verifying orders, packaging, and labeling items, and arranging transportation.
Responsibilities
- Verify shipping orders against items, pack them correctly, and prepare shipping labels.
- Create and process shipping documents like bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and delivery receipts.
- Track inventory for outgoing goods and restock items as needed.
- Schedule trucks for shipments, track their status, and communicate with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and other required paperwork.
- Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
Requirements
- Experience in a related field is preferred.
