About the Role
As an Associate Director Enterprise Architecture, you will guide clients through complex technological and organizational changes, developing future-proof strategies, IT transformation roadmaps, and robust value cases. You will optimize existing application landscapes, design modern target architectures, and evaluate new technologies like Artificial Intelligence. You will collaborate closely with clients and implementation teams to make sustainable architectural decisions, advocating for evolutionary architectures and communicating technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative technology strategies, conceptualizing modern technology and transformation strategies using cloud, data, analytics, AI, and automation solutions.
- Design enterprise architectures, developing IT target states and enterprise-level architecture management processes.
- Evaluate future technologies, analyzing the application of innovative technologies like AI, Quantum Computing, and Blockchain, considering security, risk, and compliance.
- Advise at the C-level, collaborating with business and IT leaders on strategic architecture and technology decisions.
- Work in interdisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree, e.g., in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in IT consulting, Enterprise Architecture, or technology strategy development.
- Sound understanding of modern architectural principles and cloud, API, and AI-oriented solution approaches.
- Experience in analyzing, evaluating, and developing IT target states and transformation roadmaps.
- Very good communication skills in German and English, with the ability to convey technical content to target audiences.
