About the Role
Hex is hiring a Product Expert to support customers and ensure their success with the Hex platform. This role involves engaging with analytically technical users, answering their questions, teaching them Hex's capabilities, and synthesizing their feedback to improve the product. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer teams, troubleshoot bugs, and develop creative solutions for user workflows.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for technical questions and use case development throughout the user lifecycle.
- Provide excellent customer support via chat, email, and Slack.
- Develop an understanding of different user needs and anticipate their questions.
- Develop technical content, including demo projects, documentation, and videos, to help users succeed.
- Identify product weaknesses and common pain points, providing feedback to the Product team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a working data scientist, analyst, or analytics engineer, using SQL & Python.
- Beyond-the-basics experience with Data Science tooling and workflows, including Python, Jupyter notebooks, SQL, and BI tools.
- Developed analytical thinking ability to effectively troubleshoot complex problems.
- Strong track record of talking to customers and solving their problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build empathy, share feedback, and grow relationships.
- High rate of learning, natural curiosity, and eagerness to debate opinions.
- Passion for teamwork, patience, and willingness to provide honest feedback.
- Based in NYC and excited to work in office at least 2 days per week, or based in EST or CT timezones.
