About the Role
Amcor is seeking dependable, safety-focused individuals to join our production team as a General Plant Spare Hand. This entry-level manufacturing role offers the opportunity to learn multiple production processes while supporting operations across the facility. No previous manufacturing experience is required. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Train and work as a Rewind, Blown Film, Coating, or Press Assistant based on production needs.
- Support production operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Participate in OSHA and site-required safety training.
- Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work all shifts within a rotating 21-7 schedule.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
