About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Recruiter to manage full-cycle searches during a critical growth phase for Valence. You will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and handle roles across Go-To-Market and technical teams, partnering closely with hiring managers to define roles, build pipelines, and ensure successful hires. This position is ideal for someone passionate about recruiting, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and desires significant ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Go-To-Market (Sales, CS, Marketing) and technical roles, from intake to close.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define role scope, level, and success metrics.
  • Build candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, referrals, and network mapping, targeting top-quartile talent.
  • Manage structured interview processes, ensuring interviewers are prepared and aligned on assessment criteria.
  • Handle offer management and closing, collaborating with the hiring team on compensation and candidate concerns.
  • Provide candidates with a high-touch, transparent experience, regardless of the outcome.
  • Track funnel metrics (conversion, source quality, time-to-hire) to maintain search momentum.
  • Share market insights on talent, compensation, and competitors with hiring managers and the TA team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and clean Ashby database as the source of truth.
  • Experiment with and evaluate AI sourcing and screening tools, sharing effective methods with the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle, in-house recruiting experience in high-growth B2B SaaS or AI companies.
  • Experience with Go-To-Market hiring and ideally some technical hiring.
  • Proven track record of closing strong candidates in competitive markets through direct sourcing.
  • Strong sourcing instincts and an active network; proactive approach to candidate engagement.
  • Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent searches.
  • Confidence in partnering with hiring managers, providing candid input on candidates and processes.
  • Data fluency; ability to use funnel metrics for decision-making.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and its potential to enhance recruiting.
  • Experience with Ashby or a comparable Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
