About the Role

This role is responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services, leading and supervising a portfolio of customer accounts, and ensuring quality services are delivered to meet customer expectations and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality services are provided to meet customer expectations and contract requirements
Supervise, train, coach, mentor, and lead assigned security personnel
Manage scheduling and overtime for staff
Review daily logs and incident reports
Monitor and develop staff performance, including evaluations and disciplinary actions
Maintain accurate timekeeping systems and records
Respond to emergencies and incidents
Coordinate emergency response and action planning
Maintain availability to assigned portfolio of accounts
Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents
Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
Prepare required weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly manager reports
Procure, process, and maintain uniforms and equipment

Requirements

State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
1-3+ years civilian law enforcement or private or corporate security experience
2-4+ years military experience with a favorable discharge
Reliable means of communication and transportation
Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period

Skills

Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service environment
Excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritize and problem-solve
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
