About the Role
The Operating Room (OR) team cares for a diverse patient population across various specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. The unit utilizes two DaVinci robots and supports a transplant program for livers, kidneys, and hearts. This role involves a D/E/N rotating shift schedule with on-call, callback, floating, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- NY state RN License required
- Two (2) years of operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Telemetry experience highly desired
- Experience with specialty cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive) preferred
- Experience with Craniotomy preferred
- Strong Ortho background preferred
