About the Role
We are seeking a Financing Project & Product Manager to oversee the development of BYD’s captive financing solutions for Commercial Vehicles, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Flash Charging in the EMEA region. This role will refine strategy and lead its implementation, driving sales growth for BYD products and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of BYD's finance products framework.
- Support the development of the CV financial services roadmap for EMEA.
- Manage diverse financing products including dealer financing, loans, leasing, and Fleet-as-a-Service electrification solutions.
- Lead the assessment, integration, and onboarding of strategic and novel financing partners.
- Act as a key enabler and point of contact for internal financing stakeholders.
- Monitor financing program performance and make real-time adjustments.
- Conduct horizon scanning to ensure the competitiveness of BYD's captive solutions.
- Support BESS and Flash Charging teams by monitoring industry trends and developing financing solutions.
- Collect competitive analysis of financing offerings in the European commercial vehicle market.
- Provide data-driven insights to support pricing and product positioning decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in automotive and/or asset financing, leasing, or related financial services.
- OEM background is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel across the EU and the UK.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-country projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle markets and residual value concepts.
- Experience working with banks, leasing companies, and financial institutions.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to adapt and learn very quickly.
- Ability to evolve with independence.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
