About the Role
This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to apply Python and AI skills in a fast-paced trading environment. You will develop practical solutions to automate tasks, structure data, and improve trading workflows.
Responsibilities
- Understand the team's daily trading workflow and identify tasks that can be automated.
- Build tools to process emails and documents, converting information into structured data.
- Automate routine checks and daily reports.
- Create dashboards for monitoring trades, positions, and performance.
- Test and document developed tools, adhering to IT security and compliance rules.
- Present work to trading and portfolio management teams.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a master's or final-year program in computer science, engineering, data science, or quantitative finance.
- Proficient in Python, including pandas.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience with large language models (e.g., OpenAI or Anthropic APIs) through studies or personal projects.
- Interest in financial markets.
- Fluent English.
- Curious, rigorous, and capable of explaining technical work clearly.
- Basic knowledge of bonds or derivatives (a plus).
- Familiarity with Excel/VBA, Power BI, or Bloomberg (a plus).
