About the Role
Join the world's largest kdb+ consultancy, solving complex data and technology challenges for leading Capital Markets institutions. Accelerate your growth by building innovative solutions and expanding your kdb+ expertise.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to define new application requirements.
- Develop, test, and maintain clean, performant code for client applications.
- Support project delivery alongside Project Managers and senior developers.
- Work as part of a close-knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
- Analyze large-scale time-series data and generate actionable reports.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on kdb+ development experience.
- Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex systems to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
