About the Role
The Payroll & Expense Coordinator oversees payroll and accounts payable operations, including staff supervision and training. This role monitors daily workflows, ensures accuracy, maintains internal controls, and supports timely financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and overseeing the organization's payroll and accounts payable operations
- Direct supervision and training of assigned staff
- Monitoring daily workflows
- Reviewing work for accuracy
- Maintaining established internal controls
- Supporting the timely completion of financial transactions
Requirements
- Prior experience in payroll processing and accounts payable operations required
- Additional experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with nonprofit accounting, government-funded programs, and financial reporting requirements is desirable

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant accounting experience will be considered
Salary/Compensations
- $64,000 to $68,000 per year (depending on related experience)
