About the Role
This role involves plumbing duties and assisting fabric engineers, record keeping, job surveying, and maintaining a PDA. The position requires a sound knowledge of plumbing and mechanical plant.
Responsibilities
- Plumbing duties and assisting fabric engineers
- Keeping records of stock
- Survey jobs and notify your supervisor of materials required
- Keeping a PDA up to date
- Follow Artic company policies and procedures
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others
- Undertake tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years commercial Plumbing experience, such as hospitals, schools, residential buildings, university’s, offices
- Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities
- A proven track record within the industry with a good steady work record
- Must be willing to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns
- Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
- Must have the right to work in the UK and provide documentation
