About the Role
Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking Warehouse Selectors at their Saratoga Springs location. This role involves operating electric forklifts and pallet jacks, accurately selecting orders using a scanning system, and constructing pallets of products.
Responsibilities
- Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks after proper training.
- Accurately and efficiently select orders for delivery using a scanning pick system.
- Construct pallets of various products, with individual items potentially weighing between 30-50 lbs.
- Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Demonstrate conduct that reflects the Company's high value of its employees, customers, and business partners.
- Participate and cooperate fully in assigned training, development, and group activities.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma recommended.
- One to two years of related warehousing and forklift experience and/or training recommended.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Knowledge of Internet software.
- Ability to learn and use assigned company equipment.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Understanding of product code dating system.
- Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear for 10+ hours.
- Ability to lift up to 165 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
