About the Role
The Senior Butler oversees the functioning and delivery of butler services, ensuring seamless guest experiences from pre-arrival to departure according to St. Regis brand standards. This role involves supervising the Butler team, coordinating with other departments, and managing personnel tasks such as interviewing, hiring, and scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels. Success in this role requires a passion for service, high standards, anticipation of needs, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the functioning and delivery of butler services.
- Verify seamless approach to pre-arrival, guest stay, and departure through St. Regis brand standards.
- Supervise the work of the Butler team (Butlers and Butler Valets).
- Drive strong coordination with other departments.
- Conduct people management tasks including interviewing and hiring Butler team members.
- Create schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Create a safe workplace.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Uphold quality standards.
- Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
- Be on feet and moving around for extended periods (stand, sit, or walk).
- Take a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance).
