About the Role
Develop and operate a central test automation platform for complex radio communication systems, including software architecture, automation logic, and CI/CD integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate a central test automation platform for complex radio communication systems.
- Develop software architecture and automation logic for a superior end-to-end test system and further develop it.
- Implement CI/CD-based test workflows, e.g., with Jenkins or GitLab CI, for continuous system verification.
- Create and maintain interfaces, APIs, and protocols for the system under test, as well as for connected measuring devices, test stands, and external systems.
- Develop solutions for automated recording, storage, evaluation, and visualization of measurement and test results.
- Integrate test management and requirements tools into the automation environment and ensure reproducible results through clean configuration, version, and test data management.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in software development for test automation, particularly with Python and Pytest.
- Sound knowledge in the design and setup of automated test frameworks, test infrastructures, and CI/CD-based environments.
- Proficient use of Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitLab Jobs, repository management, and Linux-based development and test environments.
- Experience in creating dashboards, evaluations, and visualizations.
- Knowledge of using databases for storing and evaluating technical measurement and result data.
- Skilled connection of measuring devices, test stands, or external systems via suitable interfaces.
- Knowledge in RF, radio communication, or safety-critical environments is an advantage.
