About the Role
We are looking for a (Senior) Software Developer (m/f/x) for Test Automation to join our expert team at a client in the radio and communication industry. You will work with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate a central test automation platform for complex radio communication systems.
- Develop the software architecture and automation logic for a superordinate end-to-end test system and drive its further development.
- Implement CI/CD-based test workflows, e.g., with Jenkins or GitLab CI, for continuous system verification.
- Create and maintain interfaces, APIs, and protocols to the system under test, as well as to connected measuring devices, test stands, and external systems.
- Develop solutions for automated recording, storage, evaluation, and visualization of measurement and test results.
- Integrate test management and requirements tools into the automation environment and support the reproducibility of results through clean configuration, version, and test data management.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in software development for test automation, especially with Python and Pytest.
- Sound knowledge in the design and setup of automated test frameworks, test infrastructures, and CI/CD-based environments.
- Proficient in using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitLab Jobs, repository management, and Linux-based development and test environments.
- Experience in creating dashboards, evaluations, and visualizations.
- Knowledge of using databases for storing and evaluating technical measurement and result data.
- Skilled in connecting measuring devices, test stands, or external systems via suitable interfaces.
- Knowledge in the RF, radio communication, or safety-critical environment is an advantage.
