About the Role
As a Logistics Store Operator at Johnson Matthey, a world leader in platinum group metals, you will contribute to tackling global challenges by applying, refining, and recycling metals for a healthier and more resilient future.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all EHS & Security policies and procedures
- Comply fully with all Standard Operating Procedures
- Operate all mobile plant and equipment safely (Counterbalance, Reach and Articulated forklift trucks)
- Carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed
- Maintain levels of stock on IT programs specifically used with the stores department
- Receipt, storage and issue of production consumables from Stores
Requirements
- Good level of literacy and numeracy (GCSE Grades A-C in Maths & English or equivalent)
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Forklift truck license (counterbalance)
- Reach truck license
- Knowledge of SAP system
