The Production Lead at Solus is a pivotal role central to site operations, uniting people, process, and performance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality repairs. This role fosters collaboration with customer service and parts teams, driving site performance and creating a well-organized environment focused on customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support technical teams to deliver safe, high-quality, right-first-time repairs.
- Create clarity around priorities, workload, and flow across the workshop.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Parts Leads to remove blockers and maintain momentum.
- Promote strong communication between technical and customer-facing teams.
- Use data, insight, and observation to balance productivity, quality, and customer outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, capability, and team confidence.
- Act as a visible, trusted leader who sets standards through behavior and judgment.
Requirements
- Production Leads are trusted partners in running the site, with genuine influence over outcomes and culture.
- Leadership presence and sound decision-making are as important as technical understanding.
