About the Role
Join our Synthetic Client Middle Office team to partner with the Securities Division and facilitate the growth of the Equities Prime Businesses. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-growing team within Operations, supporting the SPG Trading Desk and its clients.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage risk & P&L for all client’s equity derivative trading accounts
- Manage trades, including timely allocation of synthetic trades and associated hedges, and resolve economic breaks
- Efficiently handle incoming queries from clients, custodians, PB, sales, trading desks & other internal clients
- Perform trade and risk reconciliation, and complete control-related tasks
- Identify areas for process improvement
- Document procedures and process flows to enhance business controls
- Daily review of control reports to ensure accurate trade bookings and risk management
- Liaise with other teams within GS to ensure timely query resolution
Requirements
- Excellent client service skills with experience gained within a fast-paced Client Service/Operational role
- Strong team-working skills for collaboration with internal departments in London and globally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure
