About the Role
This role is within the Information Security team, focused on building security processes to protect customers and enable the company to move at pace. The individual will lead security projects, help teams manage risk, and support the development of Security Analysts.
Responsibilities
- Lead security projects across the security programme, including third-party security, governance, and vulnerability management.
- Represent Security in projects across Monzo, including product launches, and help teams identify and manage security risks.
- Write security policies and procedures with teams across Security and the wider bank.
- Mentor and develop Security Analysts.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats, technology, and risks, and help prepare for future challenges.
- Collaborate with internal audit and risk teams to ensure security controls are implemented and assessed for effectiveness.
Requirements
- Experience managing projects across a range of security domains.
- Comfortable leading multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Working towards a recognised security qualification, such as CISSP.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work confidently and independently, including engaging senior stakeholders.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using data to measure and improve work.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, regulations, and procedures.
- Openness to new approaches and technologies, including GenAI.
