About the Role
Play a key role in designing, executing, and leading R&D projects in the medium voltage sector to success through innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead national and international development and innovation projects in the medium voltage sector, taking ownership for success and results.
- Conduct pre-development studies to demonstrate the technical feasibility of new products and technologies.
- Work on the development of innovative design features.
- Integrate new technologies to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Responsible for quality, costs, and timelines until the completion of the innovation, ensuring that all goals are met.
- Build and maintain contacts with partners, research institutes, and universities to foster knowledge exchange and innovation.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in vacuum switching technology and mechanical and electromechanical drive systems.
- Profound knowledge of switching devices for indoor and outdoor applications.
- Excellent project management skills, enabling you to lead innovation projects in groundbreaking technologies.
- Proven experience with multiphysics systems, including electromagnetics, mechanical, and thermal domains.
- Innovative, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
- Creative with strong analytical skills, result and target orientation, high quality standards, and team play.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German.
- Ability to effectively present sophisticated results to multiple audiences.
