About the Role

Delivery Leads manage complex customer engagements from kickoff to go-live and beyond, owning the plan and outcome for deployments involving multiple legal teams, integrations, and senior stakeholders. This role requires experienced project managers comfortable with enterprise technology rollouts and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Engagement: Run complex customer engagements end to end, from kickoff through go-live to handover.
  • Build and own the project plan, including scope, milestones, dependencies, owners, and timelines, and hold everyone accountable.
  • Serve as the customer's main point of contact for delivery and be accountable for their successful implementation.
  • Lead the Delivery Team: Coordinate Legal Engineers and Deployment Engineers to ensure configuration and integration workstreams progress in sync.
  • Sequence work to resolve dependencies before they cause blockages.
  • Engage Legal Intelligence, Support Engineering, Product, and Engineering as needed for the engagement.
  • Stakeholders & Governance: Run kickoffs, steering committees, and status reporting with General Counsel, Legal Ops, IT, and procurement.
  • Align stakeholders with competing priorities and document decisions, actions, and changes.
  • Manage scope carefully, explicitly agreeing to changes.
  • Risk & Change: Identify and address delivery risks early, including resourcing, dependencies, customer readiness, and timelines.
  • Escalate to the VP of Transformation with clear options when an engagement requires intervention.
  • Assist customers in preparing their teams for change, collaborating with Enablement on rollout and training.
  • Improve How We Deliver: Translate learnings into delivery templates, governance models, and planning standards for complex engagements.
  • Share patterns and recurring blockers with the wider Transformation team and Product.

Requirements

  • Experience running complex enterprise technology implementations or programmes, ideally SaaS and ideally legal tech.
  • A track record of delivering multi-workstream projects on time, with many stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Confidence with senior stakeholders, including General Counsel, CIOs, and procurement, and the ability to lead discussions.
  • Sufficient technical understanding of integrations, SSO, and configuration to plan them and identify risks.
  • Strong understanding of how in-house legal teams operate, or the willingness to learn quickly.
  • Disciplined approach to scope, governance, and documentation without being bureaucratic.
  • Calm demeanor under pressure with the judgment to escalate appropriately.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
