About the Role

This is an apprenticeship to learn how to operate a vehicle (bus, subway, or tram) within a shift system between 04:00 and 22:00. You will gain knowledge of the vehicle's mechanics and learn about the commercial aspects in departments such as sales, security, and ticket inspection.

Requirements

Minimum age according to §11 BOStrab or §10 FeV.
Bus: 18 years old by March 1, 2028.
Subway/Tram without Class B license: 21 years old by March 1, 2028.
Subway/Tram with Class B license by June 2027: no minimum age.
Intermediate school leaving certificate (MSA) by August 31, 2027.
Sufficient grades in Math and German (last report card).
German language skills C1.
Maximum 1 point in the driving aptitude register (FAER).
Pass a fitness examination including urine test (with drug screening), blood test, vision test (excluding red-green color blindness), and physical examination (minimum height 1.62m - 1.98m).
Submit a CV with information on the highest (expected) school leaving certificate.
Submit the last school report card and, if applicable, the final certificate.
Submit recognition of foreign school-leaving certificates from the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family, if applicable.
Submit language certificates, if applicable.
