About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SOC / IR Specialist to support an increased caseload, emphasizing day-to-day operational SOC activities like threat detection, triage, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational SOC support with a strong focus on real-time threat detection, triage, and incident response.
- Lead and manage incident response activities across diverse environments.
- Develop and implement automation workflows and scripts using AI tooling to enhance SOC triage and response efficiency.
- Contribute to detection engineering, threat hunting, and proactive investigations as needed, while maintaining primary focus on operational SOC duties.
- Collaborate with SOC teams to ensure effective monitoring and response using Splunk and newly implemented 7AI platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SOC operations and incident response.
- Hands-on expertise in at least two of the following areas: MacOS endpoints, Linux OS in cloud environments, Microservices & containerized environments.
- Practical experience with AI tooling for SOC automation (workflow development, scripting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in high-volume caseload environments.
- Familiarity with Splunk and exposure to 7AI implementation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and deliver immediate impact.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Flexible mindset to balance operational priorities with occasional engineering or threat hunting tasks.
