About the Role
The Information Security Specialist will assess the management framework of information systems and conduct security reviews of data sharing schemes. This role evaluates the security quality of Rakuten Group's information systems and promotes the implementation of safety management measures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of the management framework for group services' information systems.
- Perform security reviews of data sharing schemes between internal and external information systems, including outsourced operations.
- Ensure compliance with Rakuten Group, Inc. Information Security Policy and related regulations.
Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience in information security-related work or projects involving information security elements.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders through logical thinking
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, servers, authentication)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) qualification
- Registered Information Security Specialist (IPA) qualification
- Experience in building and operating services on public cloud platforms
- Experience in implementing and operating security solutions

- The Group Data Control Section is responsible for reviewing use cases, assessing risks associated with data systems, and developing internal regulations and standards. Through these activities, the section supports business growth, security, and compliance.
