About the Role

We are looking for an employee for the Signal Systems Master Workshop in the Tram Overhead Lines & Signal Systems department. Classification in the TV-N Berlin collective agreement is based on professional experience.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting (24/7) of the complex signal and train control systems for trams.
Supervise employees to ensure timely and quality completion of technical and organizational tasks.
Guide and control signal mechanics.
Operate, control, and monitor tram signal and train control systems considering traffic-specific requirements.
Participate in legally required main and extraordinary inspections of tram signal and train control systems.
Responsible for personnel deployment planning and implementation of service and on-call duty plans.
Plan, coordinate, and document maintenance and construction measures.
Coordinate technical planning with other departments and third parties.
Instruct craft employees and external company personnel according to UVV, DIN, and VDE regulations, as well as internal company rules.

Requirements

Degree as a master craftsman in electrical engineering.
Fitness examination according to BOStrab during the application process.
Extensive knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and technical regulations (e.g., DGUV, BOStrab, DIN/EN, VDE, and VDV).
Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP modules.
