In this senior leadership role, you will spearhead the design and delivery of cutting-edge, customer-centric EDA solutions that address complex verification challenges for top-tier semiconductor and systems companies. You will define holistic architectures across multiple design environments, influence product roadmaps, and drive the adoption of advanced methodologies in AIML, Cloud workflows, Functional Safety, and Quality.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver integrated solutions spanning multiple DVT products to solve complex customer workflows and pain points.
- Partner with R&D and PLTs to align internal engineering investments with emerging tier-1 customer requirements.
- Engage proactively with C-suite and VP-level engineering leadership at key accounts to identify high-impact technical challenges and design scalable, reusable solutions.
- Lead complex competitive displacement strategies, establishing Siemens' differentiation and overcoming competitive feature gaps.
- Leverage deep expertise in simulation, formal verification, low power, VIP, emulation, and advanced debug/UX to close solution gaps.
- Drive strategic initiatives in AI/ML-driven automation, Cloud-native EDA workflows, and Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
- Author high-impact technical papers, whitepapers, keynotes, and architectural collateral to enable global field teams and customers.
- Scale successful solutions across global regions, driving consistency and efficiency through collaboration with horizontal initiatives.
- Provide technical mentorship and architectural oversight to senior application and product engineers.
Requirements
- 20+ years of progressive technical leadership experience in verification engineering, product engineering, EDA solutions architecture, or R&D management within the semiconductor or EDA industry.
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, multi-product verification flows for major semiconductor companies.
- Master-level understanding of DVT products, verification methodologies, and competitive tooling landscapes (e.g., Synopsys VCS/Verdi, Cadence Xcelium/JasperGold).
- Deep domain knowledge in emerging vectors such as AI/ML for EDA, scalable cloud orchestration, and hardware-software co-verification.
- Strong ability to translate complex customer pain points into robust, reusable enterprise solutions.
- Exceptional solutions-driven mindset with advanced analytical, problem-solving, and project governance abilities.
- Highly effective in ambiguous, high-stakes environments, translating high-level business goals into actionable technical execution plans.
- Outstanding executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
