About the Role
As part of the existing Security team, you will translate normative requirements into clear guidelines, manage risks for sound decisions, and contribute to the continuous development of our certifications. An ISMS provides real added value when teams experience it as practical support and audit evidence is available at all times during ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
- Operation and further development of our ISMS along the components scope, control catalog, statement of applicability, and management review.
- Management of the entire risk management cycle from identification, assessment, and treatment decisions to systematic risk register maintenance.
- Responsibility for the policy lifecycle, including creation, coordination, approval, communication, and management of exception processes.
- Planning and support of internal and external audits, including evidence collection, sampling coordination, and follow-up of agreed measures.
- Shaping the certification strategy and preparing for scaling to further international target markets.
- Introduction of structured readiness routines for certifications in technical and operational units.
- Central interface coordination with data protection, legal, authorities, and crisis communication, as well as support for regulatory reporting obligations.
- Technical consulting for internal departments and external auditors on security evidence and compliance issues.
Requirements
- Deep technical understanding, analytical sharpness, and strong communication skills at eye level.
- Several years of practical experience with standardized information security management systems and certifications or attestations in the field of cybersecurity.
- Sound audit and evidence experience from at least two certified areas (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, BSI C5, or PCI DSS).
- Sound methodological competence in risk management and the ability to translate complex technical issues into comprehensible risk analyses.
- Confident demeanor in audit support and routine dialogue with external auditors.
- High editorial precision in the understandable and binding formulation of internal guidelines and specifications.
- Experience in collaborating with agile engineering and operations teams within technology-oriented organizations.
- Strong moderation and stakeholder management skills up to management level.
- Fluent German (C2 level) and fluent English (at least C1 level) in spoken and written form.
