About the Role
Consulting & Engineering combines technological expertise with customer implementation. Our consultants and system engineers develop IT strategies, concepts, and solutions across our entire technology portfolio, from Cloud & Applications to Data Center, Networking, Security, and Workplace. In the Workplace environment, we shape future-proof digital work environments with modern user experiences, intelligent services, and scalable end-user solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leading, managing, and developing approximately 10 managers and being responsible for an organization of about 210 employees.
- Responsibility for the implementation and further development of the Workplace strategy, focusing on service quality, growth, and profitability.
- Further development and implementation of a sustainable service strategy and service and delivery processes in the Workplace environment.
- Management of capacity, demand, and growth planning in the Professional Services business.
- Responsibility for budget, planning, and KPIs within the Solution Area.
- Ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction, as well as escalation management at the management level.
- Representing the department in presales, proposal, and customer contexts, and participating in cross-departmental and solution-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in leading organizations and in shaping and further developing modern IT services.
- Several years of disciplinary leadership experience, ideally in leading managers and larger organizational units.
- Experience in managing and further developing IT service organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of Workplace Services, Modern Workplace, and End User Computing.
- Understanding of Digital Employee Experience, automation, and AI-supported services in the enterprise environment.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into viable IT and service solutions.
- Strong strategic thinking and strong implementation skills.
- Very good communication, presentation, and moderation skills in German and English.
- Willingness to travel to national locations and customers.
