About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that enhance accessibility, sustainability, and quality of living. You will play a key role in developing and implementing mode shift programs to promote sustainable transport behaviors across NSW, operating with a high degree of autonomy and providing expert advice on behavior change and sustainable transport strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice and support the design and delivery of behaviour change, community education and mode shift programs.
- Translate evidence, customer insights and behaviour change approaches into practical initiatives that encourage greater use of sustainable transport.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multidisciplinary environments to develop and deliver initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
- Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, correspondence and communication materials to support decision making and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to baseline analysis, performance reporting and evaluation activities to measure program outcomes and benefits.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and supporting delivery to agreed milestones and standards.
- Lead or contribute to the scoping, coordination and implementation of program deliverables that support mode shift outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable transport strategies and behaviour change principles, with the ability to apply them in practical settings.
- Experience providing strategic advice and managing complex program components with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes and navigate competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience using evidence and data to inform decisions and continuous improvement.
- Advanced project management skills, including planning, coordination, risk management and evaluation.
