About the Role
As a Test Analyst, you will plan, coordinate, and execute software testing across critical business platforms. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure software releases meet quality, functionality, performance, and usability standards. Your role involves identifying and investigating defects, validating solutions, supporting release readiness, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Review business and technical requirements for completeness, clarity, and testability.
- Plan and manage testing sprints in Jira, including test activities, case allocation, timelines, and milestones.
- Execute manual functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance, data validation, and exploratory testing.
- Validate data flows, interfaces, reports, integrations, business rules, and system outputs.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, test results, and defects.
- Support release testing, production readiness assessments, and go-live activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, standards, and documentation.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in a software testing or quality assurance role.
- A strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
- Strong defect investigation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
