About the Role
SRK Consulting is seeking a Senior/Principal Resource Geologist to join their Toronto geology group. This role involves mineral resource estimation, technical reporting, and due diligence project reviews, with an emphasis on developing consulting skills and client relationships within a global team.
Responsibilities
- Mineral resource estimation
- Technical reporting
- Due diligence project reviews
- Establish and maintain client relationships
- Act as a Qualified Person or equivalent for reporting standards like NI 43-101, JORC, SAMREC
Requirements
- A degree in geology or engineering
- 8+ years of applied resource estimation experience in an exploration or operational capacity
- Professional registration with APGO or PEO, or eligibility to obtain it
- Strong geostatistical skills and proficiency with computerized resource estimation tools
- Sound geological understanding of ore deposits with 3D geological modeling skills
- Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary project teams
- Established network within the mining industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dynamic and energetic, with the capacity to mentor junior consultants
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
