About the Role
As a member of the Deli Line team, you will provide excellent customer service, prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, breakfast items, and sandwiches. A positive attitude, team mentality, and eagerness to learn are essential. Barista experience is highly preferred, and training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and close down the coffee kiosk window for the day's service.
- Ensure a friendly and efficient customer checkout experience.
- Set up and maintain the coffee and deli area.
- Serve coffee and espresso drinks.
- Prepare and serve breakfast items and deli sandwiches.
- Monitor products for expiration, ensure FIFO rotation, and accurately track waste.
- Provide an excellent and knowledgeable customer experience.
- Demonstrate consistent work attendance.
- Implement safe food handling procedures.
- Assist in unloading and stocking merchandise for the Deli/Butcher team.
- Maintain a positive and equitable work environment for all staff.
- Communicate and collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and outside contacts in a timely and appropriate manner.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficiency in English.
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or request an accommodation for medical or religious exemptions.
