About the Role
This leadership opportunity focuses on accelerating the transition to a low carbon economy by helping organizations navigate challenges and unlock opportunities in the energy sector. You will lead a team to create and implement solutions for clients, contributing to impactful engagements and Australia's future.
Responsibilities
- Directly advise and partner with clients to solve complex issues.
- Lead, support, and coach team members.
- Leverage demonstrated communication skills.
- Support and lead the national team in delivering projects.
- Play an ongoing role in business development and thought leadership within a fast-changing sector.
- Drive and develop capabilities and modelling approaches within the market modelling team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant National Electricity Market experience and exposure, preferably demonstrated within a consulting, industry, or government environment.
- Deep experience in energy market modelling using models such as PLEXOS and/or built bespoke models using optimisation platforms such as GAMS.
- Experience in leading teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Proven track record of successful business development skills through new and existing relationships.
- Experience leading the preparation of compelling proposals aligned with client requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively within teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions to complex problems.
