About the Role
SweetSpot Heating & Cooling LLC is launching a new residential HVAC company in New York City and Long Island, specializing in heat pump installation. We are seeking a founding general manager to establish and lead the operation from its inception.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the installation business, including scheduling and project completion.
- Establish and enforce quality and technical standards for all installations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise installation teams as the company expands.
- Act as the company's designated officer and licensing principal for local home improvement licenses.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in residential HVAC, with a preference for heat pump systems.
- Minimum of five years of documented experience in residential HVAC operations or installation.
- EPA 608 certification (Universal preferred).
- Proven experience in leading field teams.
- Knowledge of New York City and Long Island permitting and licensing is advantageous.
