About the Role
Bridgeport Elderly Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide quality in-home care and support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. The PCA will help clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and safety while remaining in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide assistance with mobility and daily living activities.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with errands and other approved care-related activities.
- Follow the client's individualized care plan and agency guidelines.
- Report any changes in the client's condition or needs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
- Responsible, professional, and respectful toward clients.
- Must meet applicable agency employment and background screening requirements.
