About the Role

Design, build, and technically manage central data platforms in Microsoft Azure for clients, enabling the use of corporate and machine data for analysis and AI. Develop into a Principal Architect Data & Cloud with growing experience.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and further develop central data platforms in Microsoft Azure, with technical responsibility towards the client, independently or as a senior in a project team.
Connect corporate systems and machine data via interfaces and model data for AI applications, evaluations, and dashboards.
Build cloud infrastructure for clients using Infrastructure as Code and automate deployment and operation via CI/CD.
Implement security, permissions, and tenant separation to ensure appropriate data access for user groups.
Participate in pre-sales activities, build team knowledge, and advance the company's data and cloud offerings.

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Data Engineer in the cloud (ideally 4+ years), preferably in Microsoft Azure, with strong SQL and Python skills.
Experience with data integration via interfaces, data modeling, and reporting, ideally with Power BI.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, with good knowledge of cloud security and authorization concepts, ideally with Entra ID.
Fluent German and English (C1) for client interaction.
Desire to develop into a Principal Architect Data & Cloud through a technical career path.
