About the Role
Seyfarth is seeking 2Ls to join our 2028 Summer Program as a Summer Associate in our Corporate department in our New York office. This program offers a strong educational component supported by practical learning opportunities, with Summer Associates working closely with Seyfarth partners and receiving individualized feedback and coaching. Associates are assigned to a specific department for the entire summer to gain deeper knowledge and insights in a particular practice area.
Responsibilities
- Work on actual client cases and projects
- Attend client meetings
- Shadow attorneys on a variety of deals and cases for hands-on learning
Requirements
- Completed one year of law school by the spring of 2027 and expecting a JD in May 2029
- Demonstrated academic achievement
- An appreciation for collaboration and teamwork
- A clear interest in Corporate, evidenced by coursework, certificate programs, or prior work experience
