About the Role
A Manhattan-based luxury real estate company seeks experienced maintenance Porters for its residential building portfolio in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and availability.
Responsibilities
- Clean common areas and vacant apartments.
- Maintain exterior areas.
- Collect and sort trash.
- Perform minor handy work such as changing light bulbs, replacing blinds, and small paint touch-up jobs.
Requirements
- One (1) year or more of Porter experience (building cleaning experience will be considered).
- Ability to communicate efficiently in English.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs.).
- Must be available to work weekends, night shift and/or overtime.
